Ross & April's Story

"Ross and I have known each other since kindergarten. We grew up in the small town of North Brookfield, MA and were good friends all throughout high school. We started dating shortly after we graduated and were together all through college. Since we have bought a house together next to his family farm and adopted our boxer/mastiff mix, Tank (if we could we would have a house full of dogs!). We both love being outdoors and share a love for animals. I grew up with horses and Ross is the 4th generation on his family farm. Ross works as a forester and I am an ultrasound tech. We got engaged in Jamaica on April 12th, 2016 and we decided on a winter wedding because we both enjoy the winter (we like to ski and go snowmobiling) and it's difficult for Ross to get away during the warmer months because of the farm. After being together for over 8 years we were both very excited to finally be married and include all of our family and friends. It was a lot of work leading up to the big day to add many personal touches but it was worth every second. Ross's dad made the arbor, Ross cut all the other pieces of wood utilized and I put together all of the other pieces. Even the window frames used for the seating chart came from our house." - April
